“The Department’s mission is to guarantee management of diagnostic therapeutic procedures and a treatment of excellence under an urgency-emergency situation of adult and pediatric patients, acute clinical pictures with severe impairment of vital functions. Our experience is shared in multidisciplinary teams and in therapeutic surgeries that require our specific competence concerning trauma and tissue reconstruction”

• Treatment of major trauma pathologies in a dedicated center (trauma team center)
• Treatment of burns in a dedicated center (center for severe burns: reconstructive therapy with autologous and multi-organ donor skin grafts and tissue engineered products)
• Oxygen therapy (hyperbaric medical center)
• Surgery of: pelvis and acetabulum, primary and revision prosthetic surgery, the vertebral column, the foot, pediatric orthopedic and functional orthopedic surgery in infantile cerebral paralysis

• Orthopedic surgery in hemophiliac patients, in dialysis, latex allergic people or affected by invalidating pathologies, systemic or chronic
• Recomposition of limb traumas
• Microsurgical reconstruction due to tissue loss
• Treatment of consequences of lesions in the tetraplegic patient
• Treatment of pediatric pathologies (infantile spastic paralysis, malformations, etc.)
• Neoplasm of the oral cavity, of the salivary glands, soft and hard oral maxillofacial tissues; skin neoplasms (carcinomas and melanomas with sentinel lymph node biopsy)
• Facial traumas, severe craniomaxillo-facial haemorrhages, acute and chronic infections of soft and hard oral maxillofacial tissues
• Oral surgery (avulsion of inclusive dental elements, removal of maxillary cystic neoformations, orthognathic surgery and prosthetic surgery)
• Craniofacial malformations in the neonatal-pediatric age
• Pathologies of the paranasal sinuses
• Arthroscopic surgeries of joint pathologies with shock waves and laboratory tendon reconstruction: capsuloligamentous lesions of the knee, of the shoulder, of the elbow and of the ankle
• Reconstructive surgery of: soft tissues of the upper and lower limbs, of the breast, of the urogenital apparatus and the cervicofacial district, reconstruction after weight loss surgery
• Plastic and esthetic surgery: in private pay regime
